Holiday Gift Guide - How to buy a gift they’ll actually love.

Finding a gift for the people in your life can be challenging. It often feels like they have everything they need, making it hard to think of new ideas. To help, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite gifts, along with a few helpful tips for gift-giving. among them.

Tips for finding a good gift.

TIP ONE - A gift that keeps on giving

For example - a gift card! Maybe fabric. But if a gift card isn't your thing, here are a couple of other ideas.

The first person we will focus on is the women in your life: mothers, sisters, friends, wives, and girlfriends. Whoever it is you’re looking for, we believe you’ll find something she will love.

TIP TWO

What is something you would love to have but it feels too unnecessary to splurge on? There’s a good chance she feels the same and would love a gift like that! For example -fancy matches in a pretty container.

A Pretty Bible

And then some pretty accessories to go with it! Bible tabs, pretty aesthetic pens, etc.as well as blankets and mugs

TIP THREE - Give a gift that solves a pain point for them.

Stock her sewing supply with all things so she won’t have to run to the store last minute on her next project!

Is her scissors dull? Buy a new pretty one!

Does she constantly run out of thread? Buy her a lot! You may want to stick to fairly basic colors for this. You can never go wrong with white and black!

Does she have a lot of mending to do?Tear mender to the rescue.

TIP FOUR - Something that makes a necessary task prettier or more fun.

Cookbook

A new cookbook always makes cooking much more fun! And you can get her the pretty version of the spoons, recipe cards, bowls, etc.

TIP FIVE - Something for their hobbies.

Does she want to learn how to make great coffee? A coffee recipe book!

TIP SIX - Try to hit one of these three boxes

Try to use this three-point framework for thinking about gift-giving:

  • Can I introduce someone to something they might not otherwise know about?
  • Can I get them a nicer version of something than they would buy for themselves?
  • Can I make them feel appreciated and understood?

If you can check at least one of these boxes, you're likely to have a thoughtful and meaningful gift.
