Description
No one seemed to know where he came from. Rose and Rachel knew that it is not their horse and that the owner might show up at any time, but they were secretly hoping that he wouldn’t show up at all.
But who is the owner?
And why does it take so long to find him?
One afternoon when Rose and Rachel went out to the barn, Dad said, “I want to show you what i found in here this morning after you left for school.” He headed over to a stall he had just cleaned out, and led out a beautiful white horse.
Rachel’s breath caught in her throat, “You found him? Where did you find him?” She gasped, “He’s so beautiful!”
“Is he ours to keep?” Rose asked.
“No he isn’t our. He was standing out here in the barn when I came to feed the horses so i put him in this stall. He seems pretty tame. And no, we cannot keep him, we have to find his owner. I’m pretty sure they miss him,” Dad said answering their questions.
